When drunk, rarely happens, he starts explaining Physical Rules, sings and is really adorable and funny.
Due to an over exposition to toxic chemical substances his personality became unstable, indeed he is very moody.
He hates arguing or become angry (he's lazy to agrue) so prefers a calm and diplomatic discussion.
If angry he can be very scary and serious, not to say, dangerous.
When he runs his experiments and he exposes his body to toxic substances he become a Medi-Maniac, a Madden Doctor unstable and Crazy and sometimes speak to his self. But that last only few minutes.
He is impossible to brainwash due to his strong and dominant personality.
He loves Science, Particle Physics, Metaphysic and Chemistry.

Herbert as Medic and Battle info:

Mostly team-healer and a battle medic if the condition gets harder.
He uses the combination of his Quick-fix and the running speed of Grace for being faster in the battlefield for escaping from bad situation or assisting quickly the wounded.

His Übercharge "wakes up " when Herbert feels very strong emotion, for example, when is in a strong state of excitement, anger or danger.
Formerly he couldn't control it or Übercharge his self intentionally, but by the time he learned how to do it.

Side Effects and Other Features:

Is pale skin is due to his long period passed in the library reading his beloved books and is his room studying science with low-light.
Indeed for that reason he had to wear glasses.
He's mostly an active and nocturnal man, indeed he doesn't need to sleep much for feel good and energetic. He just sleep 2-3 hours while spend the other time in contemplating the night or thinking about different things on his sofa.

Early Moments:

Strong and Charismatic.
A proud and outstanding Teutonic man of science in a Vintage outfit, since he was young has had a strong passion for scientific subjects. Since when, at eight years old, he led small chemistry experiments with his mother, Amalia Stelter.
Fascinated of physics and chemistry, because of his strong fast learning he did not take long to attend private courses at the youth academy of science, where after a few months was praised with two trophies and four medals.

After several years of studies his father, noticing his outstanding ability, let him attend the University of Stuttgart to become a worthy physican. Here during a chemical experiment he met his current friend, Angie, who left the university after few years to pursue a career as an engineer.

During his youth he worked as a laboratory assistant in a biotechnologic lab of his mother and later as supervisor of chemical experiments at the academy.
Later he taught chemistry and biology at the University and then he left because of an urgent call from his friend.

PRE-WAR TIME - FIRST CALL

At the age of 12 years old, in a long cold winter his friend, the engineer, proposed him a collaborative work at two biotech machinery, he accepted but due to a sabotage his friend lost his right hand.
Blocked by a snowstorm, Herbert tried everything to assist his friend, despite his knowledge in medical field were not fully extended.
He managed to sew the wound and the friend regained the use of his right hand in some months.

so because of a sense of guilt in the inability to professionally assist his friend, he decided to follow a medical career at the studies of Vaihingen, Germany.
His talent was noticed quickly among his colleagues, in fact he purchased respect among older doctors despite his young age.
His years of study ended when he obtained his medical license, which lost afterwards in an explosion in the hospital in which he was doing a seminary.

Thus he became a surgeon of great importance, with his knowledge in chemistry and with the help of his friend engineer, he built good medic machines and medical implants.

War Moments - First Call

In early June he received a call to join the war on the north-west front, which succeeded in saving most of the comrades working as a Field Medic.
After two years of war, it ended with an awarded victory of his team, half decimated.
Because of leaks of toxic chemical material and due to an over-use of it, as a side effect he has frequent emotional changes which sometimes bring him to Madness (expexially when he runs his medical experiments)

Meeting with Miss Sheppherd

During an excursion four months late, to inspect the stability of the area in which there were the previous war, there was an ambush by some members of the team of the battle on the north-west front, and here Herbert met his current roommate, student and love: Miss Grace Sheppherd.
A very young scout sitting in a camp while assisting some wounded children after the ambush. Not being a doctor but also fascinated by science, Herbert saw her potential and helped her to develope it more.
